MESSAGE FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR: Dear AHHS Basketball Spectators, As we prepare to host the Upper Moreland Golden Bears, we wanted to remind you of our spectator guidelines. In an effort to provide an exceptional game day experience for the away team's fans and our AH #CometNation Community crowd, we are asking for fan cooperation to ensure that it is second to none! This is also a PIAA event, meaning tickets are only being sold online. You can find the link and information regarding tickets in our Know Before You Go Gameday Guidelines below. Coach Bianchi & Coach McLane Tribute
HONORING LEGACYOn February 7th, Abington Heights Athletics took a moment to honor the long and illustrious careers of Coaches Ken Bianchi and Jeff McLane during the boys basketball game.Throughout his 49-year career, Coach Ken Bianchi has partnered with Coach McLane first as a player and then for 42 years as an assistant coach. Together over the past 28 years here at Abington Heights, this storied duo amassed 613 wins against 145 losses - a .809 winning percentage! Their partnership will go down as one of the most successful coaching duos in High School basketball history and on Friday, February 7th at our home Boys Basketball Game vs. Scranton Prep, we took some time to pay tribute to our former coaches who have given so much of themselves and so much to our Abington Heights Community!Since 1996 they have amassed 15 League titles, 14 District 2 Titles and the 2018 PIAA 5A-State Championship. Their tenure leading the Comets ended with a perfect 22-0 regular season record and

FALL 2024 SPORTS SUMMARY
Fall 2024 Summary The Fall 2024 season has been one to remember at Abington Heights! Here’s a recap of the incredible accomplishments by our student-athletes and teams:Fall 2024 Overall Record: 139 wins - 40 losses (.777 win percentage)BOYS CROSS COUNTRYOverall Record: 19-4League Record: 19-4 (T-4th of 24 teams in Lackawanna League) Boys Cross Country concluded their season with a strong 19-4 overall record and a 3rd place finish in the District Championship. Jack Shoemaker was named to the Lackawanna League's 2nd All-Star Team. Timmy Fogley earned a District Medal and qualified for the PIAA State Championship meet. GIRLS CROSS COUNTRYOverall Record: 23-0League Record: 23-0 (Lackawanna League Champions) Girls Cross Country extended their dominance with an undefeated 23-0 season, maintaining their league unbeaten streak at 146-0 since 2017.
