AH 4   Tunkhannock 3

The Abington Heights Girls Jr High softball team did it again by overcoming a three run deficit to defeat Tunkhannock 4-3 in 8 innings. Grace Lorah doubled and Marley Sarafinko singled in the 8th inning. Smart base-running by courtesy runner Madison Zalewski on a ground out by Paige Walsh, scored the go ahead run. Grace Lorah came in to relieve Paige Walsh in the middle of the third inning and tossed a 1 hitter retiring 17 of next 18 batters and striking out 6.
