The Lady Comets suffered their first loss of the year by a score of 5-3 to Northeast in the second game. The offense was led by Ava Leach with three hits including a double, Riley Dempsey doubled, Debbie Shurtleff, Megan Van Wert, and Colleen Cole chipped in with singles each. Avery Fiorillo pitched a six hitter with five strikeouts but suffered her first loss of the season.
