The Abington Heights Girls Jr High softball team exploded for 7 runs in the second inning as they defeated Valley View 12-6. Renee McDonald had the hot bat ripping 2 doubles and knocking in 4 runs. Bryn Stiles crushed her first home run of the year and finished with 4 RBI’s. Marley Sarafinko and Lyndsey Tasker belted doubles for the Lady Comets. The defense was led by Marley Sarafinko and Ava Stafursky, who ended the game by making a perfect throw to the plate to nail a Valley View runner. Grace Lorah notched the win by tossing an 8 hitter and striking out 9.
